How to order a gown

All of our gowns are custom made; it is therefore important for us to get to know our customers and to understand their ideas and wishes. The first step to ordering is to contact us. You can call us toll free from anywhere in North America or you can e-mail us. You will find that our knowledgeable team members will happily assist you with any questions you may have. If you would to like to make changes in the design of a gown or create your own,  ask for Rya, our designer, who will be happy to help you in making your dream gown come true.

Once you have decided on the style of your gown you should contact us as soon as possible to make a reservation. We frequently get booked out during the main bridal season so we strongly recommend that you reserve your space ahead of time .We will ask you for a $200 deposit to secure your spot. This deposit is refundable, see our refund agreement.

You can decide the date you wish to receive your dress. Please choose a date at least one month prior to your wedding to allow us to offer our complete guarantee. If your weight is stable you may receive your gown as soon as you wish. Brides who wish to lose weight or whose weight is unstable are sewn as close to the wedding date as possible, still arriving one month prior to the wedding date. We will take your measurements as close to the starting date of the production as possible.

Are we able to make a custom made gown that fits perfectly without any fittings?  Yes!!  And this is how we do it:

We set up a telephone appointment and guide you through approximately 30 measurements. We then adjust one of our mannequins to your measurements, adding a bra or and padding or whatever is necessary to make the mannequin exactly identical to your body. It is basically as if we were sewing it on your body, with the advantage of not having to stick pins into you.

As the date when we should commence your gown approaches we will set up an appointment to take your measurements over the telephone.

How we take the measurements.

We prefer to take the measurements with you over the phone. This is the safest way since you will be guided by one of our experienced tailors. Since we take many more measurements and have our own way of taking them we prefer this over you going to a tailor to have your measurements taken.

The measuring session over the telephone will take around one to two hours. We will take approximately 40 measurements, depending on the style of your gown.

For the measurements, you will need the following items:

1. One dependable person who will take the measurements for you.

2. Shoes the same height as the ones you will be wearing on your wedding

3. An unpadded bra that puts your breasts in the position which you like.

4. A string or ribbon long enough to go around your waist.

5. A marker, pencil, or chalk, that can be used to draw on your body. It should be non permanent and non toxic.

6. And last but not least a flexible tailor measuring tape.

If you are interested in seeing the measurements we will be taking,  you can have a look our measurement sheet. We also offer you a step by step measuring guide, and although it explains it all quite clearly we would still not recommend anyone undertaking it without our help.

Payment options and deposits

To reserve your spot we will need to receive a $200 refundable deposit . We will need to receive the rest of the 50% deposit in order to start your gown. If you desire the have an alternate payment plan such as paying a certain amount every month until your gown is ready, or any other plan that suits your needs, we will be happy to accommodate you.
