How to
explain this incredible work of art that has just arrived at my home. I
am somewhat lost for words and that does not happen often! As soon as the
box arrived, I called a dear friend (with whom I became even closer after
my measuring session!) and she dropped everything to meet me at her new
home. (New carpet for the new gown!). Awaiting me was champagne and a
camera (eeek). We opened the box, began to unfold the gown and were
stunned. Stunned because it is was so very beautiful, and then to feel
this amazingly soft, buttery, fabric that just flows, and drapes, and
moves and catches the light wherever it goes. Then the detail: the
hand-stitching, diamond-quality rhinestones, beautiful, beautiful, jeweled
pieces, the lace-trim with slight gleam, and softness of the lining. Not
to mention the butterfly-wing quality of the silk-chiffon on my sleeves
and as my train. Now the moment of truth: to try it on! As you know
(very well at this point) my body is not the easiest in the world to fit.
A “Dolly Parton” top, short-waisted, narrow-backed frame on a 5’ 2”
woman. I trusted that when you said a
backless dress would not be a
problem. How completely right that trust was.
I could feel the complete support as soon as I had the gown on, and it was not even laced-up yet! The gown felt as if it fit me everywhere at once, yet was no-where. The train hooked on easily and completely finishes the entire ensemble. I looked like a Renaissance Painting. It felt incredible. I know now that I will look beautiful, and what having custom, made-to-measure, clothes feels like – and a bra that actually fits! How on earth will I be able to go back to regular clothes? I will be wearing this the entire time of the wedding, and the reception, AND to the hotel
In closing, all of the above does not come close to capturing the beauty of this gown. You were so patient with me and my design “ideas” – and I so appreciated you taking time to listen; work with me; hear my dream; and create the gown I have had in my head since I was 16 - while maintaining your base of knowing what would work and what would not, right down to making it flow the very best way it could. All of this done with grace.

Well the ‘Jenny’ saga for you has ended and ended with fantastic results! Both Janice and I love our dresses. I told you before I loved mine and thought it was absolutely beautiful and the cape material was the best choice I could imagine. Now Janice has her dress (she got it the other night at the Sobeys parcel outlet) and she says she is very happy with it, that it is the most beautiful dress she has ever seen. Well actually when she saw mine when I was home in May, all she could say was ‘wow’, so perhaps mine is the most beautiful dress she has ever seen. She said it fits her perfectly and when I assured her we could make adjustments if necessary, she said it was not necessary at all. So she is very happy with it and now so am I. Well I was extremely happy with mine, but was waiting to see if Janice was happy with hers for the final verdict. The wedding is 35 days away and promises to be a wonderfully, fun day. There should be lots of photos, so I will send some your way. Now the countdown to the day! Thanks for everything! If I was a bothersome bride, my apologies. But I’m sure you have experienced worse! Just wanted to make sure you received the emailed pictures of the dress. EVERYONE LOVED IT! It really made me feel like a princess. Color is everything. Even the photographer was impressed. He has been taking pictures for over 20 years and he told me this dress was a pleasure to photograph. He thought the color was intense and very photogenic. I was originally worried about bustling the train (my friends' have always had problems with their bustles, i.e.: not staying on the button or ripping the fabric). There was never anything to worry about. I bustled it and it stayed bustled. The bustle was so beautifully done that people actually thought I have removed the train. Oh my God! The pictures on your website do not come close to doing this dress justice. It is absolutely stunning. You all do remarkable work, especially considering you did it all without ever seeing me. It fits perfectly! Thank you for making a fairytale dress for my fairytale wedding.

I ordered the "star jeweled gown" for my wedding on October 20th and I have to say i could not have imagined a more beautiful dress if I tried. It was simply amazing. Breathtaking. And, wearing the dress, I felt more beautiful than I ever have in my life. As you can see we shot the dress outdoors near a castle...The stylist suggested shots with the hoop and w/out the hoop to get different casually romantic feels...I wish you both could hear the incredible responses from everyone who sees the dress...The dress is so incredible...Everyone wants to touch it...And just like everyone else I can't get enough of it...The dress is like cake-it looks so delicious!!!! I know I have spoken with you over the phone and told you how I feel about the Star Jeweled Gown. I just have to let you know again how pleased I am with the dress. I have to admit I was very skeptical about doing business over the internet. You can't imagine the things that went through my mind. There are a lot of scam artist out in the world today. I had to reach down into my faith reservoir to trust that this was the right thing to do. When I opened the box and saw the dress it was more beautiful than what I could have ever expected. I am astounded that there is no need for alteration. Other than remarrying my husband the dress will be one of the best parts of the wedding.
